I have finally managed to get my photos from Illuminares 2006 up. For those of you who aren’t familiar with what Illuminares is; it’s a lantern festival that takes place every year at Trout Lake Park, a few scant blocks from my home. Put on by a group called the Public Dreams Society, who are also responsible for the Parade of Lost Souls, it’s a big social event for our group each year.

Friends of ours, most notably Angus & Reine, have participated in the fire performances. In addition, Jhayne has been responsible for the fireworks that cap the night’s festivities for two years running. I have yet to do anything particularly exciting other than enjoy the celebration and take photos.
