Who are The Last Fridays?

The Last Fridays is a loosely organized, vaguely artistic collective based out of Vancouver, BC. Organized & run by myself, Andrew Ferguson, it consists of whichever of my friends I can con into joining me on this months wacky scheme.

What do you do?

We liven up your day. On the last Friday of each month, we will do something interesting somewhere in the city of Vancouver. There is no warning, no announcement, no press notification. We tend to prefer to organize our events privately.

Why do you do it?

Because we can. Every day we go online and find the strangest, most interesting, and fantastical news we can. A glimpse of what our world could be. We want to make our city, where we live, more of a place where these strange and wondrous things happen and this is a good way to start small.

Can I get involved?

Short answer, yes. Just get in touch with me and we’ll talk. The long answer is that we’re in the process of rebirth right now and not yet built to handle new members on a large scale. Because most of us are friends already, the large portion of our organization is done either in my head or gradually at the social events we see each other at over the course of the month. If you’re interested in being active and putting in the effort, then I’ll do the same for you making sure you’re included.

Why have there been no events lately?

Due to recent events in my personal life, I have been less than inspired to work on this project at all. This will be hopefully be rectified in the near future.
